I thought it was pretty decent. but couple things bothered me, and i want to know if it bothered anyone else?

1. the fight scene. it was just way to modern. i would have prefered a raw fight, no fancy camera work. i couldnt enjoy it this way. and what about the sponsering? Golden Palace? HBO? that got real annoying. the fight was too realistic. (SPOILER WARNING) you know that revelation he has right before he throws his final punch, i thought it could have been better played. where was Micky? he was barely mentioned. and all the flashbacks were to quick and piled on top of each other.

2. The Training scene. It didnt show him really wanting it like before, like in 4th one. it didnt show enough struggle. also when he climbed the stairs. it wasnt as magical as before. he should done something besides pick up the dog, (which i still dont know what it symbolizes, besides the fact that old guys still have life in them and still should be given a chance. not good enough for me.
but overall. as i said. it was pretty good. maybe i didnt enjoy it as much because i didnt see the Rocky series until a while ago. not when they came out, so i couldnt enjoy what it all meant. but still its good.

Enter a tournament. The amount you lose at the casino’s is going to be more then what you pay to enter. You are not playing against the casino, so your odds here are higher and some places give you money to play with if you enter. Why bet your own dollar if you can use someone else’s?

Avoid shopping on the strip. The prices on the strip are rip offs. 9.00 dollars for ham and eggs or a subway sandwich? 7 dollars for a draft beer? I suggest going off strip for such things for better deals and stretching your dollar.

Visit things besides the strip. Las Vegas has plenty here to offer. Go exploring.
Sign up for comps. It is well worth it.
If you see a security guard with a funny looking hat, do not be afraid to say hi.
