With his down-to-earth demeanor and hilarious way of looking at the world, Bill Engvall tickets are guaranteed to be a good time. He is well known for being a part of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour foursome and also for his signature of “here’s your sign.” His comedy career began way before he teamed up with his blue-collar buddies.

Bill Engvall was born in Galveston, Texas and got his start in entertainment as a DJ at a Dallas nightclub. He soon starting doing standup at local clubs on amateur night and from there went to St. Louis and then to Los Angeles. His talent soon found him spots on TV in 1990 when he hosted a show with Rosie O’Donnell, Pair of Jokers, and found guest spots on Evening at the Improv and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. For some fans, it is hard to believe that the man that makes Big Engvall tickets so hard to get once wanted to be a teacher.

He found recognition for his comedy work in 1992 when he was awarded the American Comedy Award for Best Male Stand-up Comedian. He followed that up with appearances on The Golden Palace, Designing Women and Delta in 1992 and 1993. He released the first album of his work in 1996 with Here’s Your Sign. He toured with fellow Blue Collar Comedy man Jeff Foxworthy and was also on Foxworthy’s TV show. In 1997, he had a hit country song with Travis Tritt entitled “Here’s Your Sign (Get the Picture).” He released his second album, Dorkfish, in 1998 followed by Here’s Your Christmas in 1999.

2000 marked both the release of Now That’s Awesome and the beginning of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. Engvall and Foxworthy were joined by Larry the Cable Guy and Ron White. The men found incredible success together and released Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Movie in 2003. The Blue Collar men also began a sketch comedy show called Blue Collar TV in 2004.

He has also written book like Cheap Drunk: An Autobiography and Bill Engvall – Just a Guy. In 2007, he began his own comedy sitcom, The Bill Engvall Show, about a family counselor with a wife and four kids trying to make sense of his life and sort through family issues. Engvall is married in real life to Mary Gail Watson and the couple has two children, Emily and Travis. See this legend of comedy with you own pair of Bill Engvall tickets.
