my greyhound is about 1yo. and she runs about 50 mph. and we have seen her do this while chasing a deer for 3/4 of a mile. She was litterly 8ft. behind the deer!

He is a rescued non starter, and has a Jack Russell as a companion. But he clearly resents being left when we go out for more than 3 or 4 hours, and occaisionally retaliates by piddling on the middle of the bed. The weather in the UK has been hot, and so he has been drinking more. Any suggestions please, other than carefully managed dehydration.
